Why do people get so upset at us Neo Cons for wanting to bring Democracy to the world by using the US military

to invade any non-Democractic country? I mean almost 1/4 of all US taxpayer money goes to the US military so why not use it all even if it means starting up a new draft? Liberating does not do the trick as seen in Iraq/Afgahistan but conquering using the full force of the US Military (as shown by the Romans) works very well. Insurgencies don't work when an entire populaton is conquered. Why do you think Saddam was so successful at stopping insurgents?
