Why do people hate mayweather? he is good?

great to hear from you alex. i practice martial arts also, and used to box. thank you for a detailed, honest, and non partisan answer to to this madness. i will "try" to avoid going on an anti pacquiao tirade and only say that mayweather is clearly one of the all time greats. i suspect that pacquiao fans hate him so much because floyd came out of his brief retirement and is now challenging manny's status as the best fighter in the world. floyd toyed with a man who gave manny hell for 2 fights, and won 10 of 12 rounds against a man who, on record, manny's trainer has said he wanted no part of. see, manny had a nice run over opponents who were carefully selected, and he and his supporters expected smooth sailing, and hoped that mayweather would stay retired. floyd is the "fly in the ointment" to their God, and they are letting all of their resentment out. also, floyd has called manny out on suspected ped use, and this hurts their feelings also. i have often said that pacquiao fans are way too sensitive. if they can't take the heat, then get out of the kitchen! this is boxing, not knitting.
